Family comes first, for Dan.  Rarely does the whole gang get together at once, spread out as we are in  Arizona, DC, Illinois, Minnesota, California,  Japan, and North Carolina, but we are never out of touch for long.

Dan’s energy and enthusiasm for everything mathematical, from engineering to number theory to data science is as great as when he was officially a student.   Actually he still is a student, having discovered and explored online MOOCs on topics ranging from poetry to comic books.

Dan started out in Texas and has by now lived in 10 US states as well as Paris, Singapore, Barcelona and Taipei.  Travel fits well with his interest in languages.

Other interests include the outdoors, music, dancing, and painting.  For his tastes in reading, see  some fiction and some nonfiction.
