# Parameterized curves

Learning objectives

• Interpret functions from ${\bf R}$ to ${\bf R}^2$ or ${\bf R}^3$ as parameterized curves
• Use Mathematica to explore a variety of parameterized curves, including lines, circles, and helixes
• Define and use velocity and acceleration vectors for motion
• Compute arc length of a parameterized curve
